Email didnt work!

My email stopped working a few weeks ago, around the time of the system updates etc.

I noticed a few people here had similar problems, with no replies.

I get my emails on my phone and just thought it was due to the migration process. But decided it’s been too long.

This is what I did and it works now. Might not work for anyone else!


Logged into C panel, go to Email accounts. Look down to the email account that’s not working, on the far right of that is a “more” tab. Click that and select “access webmail”. Log in, to get your webmail. I used Squirrel mail. Then try emailing another email account. Mine said failed to send.


(This stage might not be needed) I set up a new email account from C panel, go to Email accounts. Then did the same as above (log in via webmail to the new email account), tried sending an email to another account and that worked.


I then tried old email account, still no joy.


Then changed the password on my original email account (via C panel, Email Accounts), logged in via webmail. Now I can send emails. Tried using my phone and can send and receive emails as before (don’t forget to change password to same as you did in C panel)


So you may just need to change your password, to get things working and not bother with all above. That’s just how i came to get mine working.
