Hi guys,
I have parked a domain on top of the default x10hosting site and have now added an email address (contact@parkeddomain.com). I send emails to this address and access via squirrel or horde, but whenever I try to SEND an email, I get a server timeout and nothing is sent:
Message not sent. Server replied:
Connection timed out
110 Can't open SMTP stream.
This also (although silently) must be happening with my automatic forwards - none are getting through. This problem happened BEFORE I added forwarding, so it isn't that which caused it, it hasn't worked from the start.
If I use gmail (and I thus assume any other email client eg thunderbird, outlook) etc) to check this account I can receive and send email fine, so the problem must be in some config file for my x10 account, or at least the webmail side of it? Remember this happens also when using auto forwarders, so it isn't squirrelmail or horde dependent.
Pretty confused!
Admittedly I could just use outlook etc, but it is a website for my cricket club, so each week the captain may be different - I want to let each captain be able to log into webmail and check for messages concerning the week's matches, without faffing with configuring their own pop3 settings etc.
Any help would be much appreciated!
