I have been having this problem on and off for a number of months now, but it is starting to get more frequent. Emails that I send to hotmail.co.uk accounts are getting rejected (I'm not sure about hotmail.com accounts). The error seems to be reported as "Remote host said: 421 RP-001"
This is getting to be unnacceptable as I cannot be sure my emails are getting through to the recipients. The error is reported approx 10 hours later, which is too late to do anything about it by then.
What is the issue?
I have not had this before with other email hosts.
Can you help?

The problem is that some users on this system have been abusing the free accounts to send out spam.

Hotmail and Yahoo have decided to blacklist (bounce back, not even put it into a spam folder) x10hosting's mail server. Apparently they will not understand that this is a shared system and that the abusers are caught and then booted off.

One alternative is to open a Google Apps account for your domain and then send mail via SMTP through Google's servers.
