email issue

Hello,

I can't send emails from horde or squirrel, getting the following error:

There was an error sending your message: Failed to connect to localhost:25 [SMTP: Failed to connect socket: Connection refused (code: -1, response: )]

It seems also that I am not receiving any emails. If someone could please check into that, it would be greatly appreciated.

It should be working. Try to send yourself and e-mail from gmail or Yahoo! and see if that works.

OK, I tried that. But I can wait for hours and the emails just never show up. And if I try to send an email from horde or squirrel I still get the error message too. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

My email is still not working, still getting the same error message sending emails. I am also getting returned email because they can't be delivered. E.g.:

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at yahoo.com.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.
<contact@easyvoc.com>:
Sorry, I wasn't able to establish an SMTP connection. (#4.4.1)
I'm not going to try again; this message has been in the queue too long.

Anybody, please help.
