I'm not receiving emails from my contact form on phpBB.

I also don't receive emails when a new user registers they don't get the confirmation email on phpBB or Wordpress.

I downloaded a plugin on wordpress called WP Mail Bank. It has an email test feature. I run a php mail test and it says the mail was sent correctly even though I don't receive it, and I checked my spam folders. I run a SMTP test and it fails.

It seems like across my entire domain no emails work.

Hi,

It looks like your emails are being automatically dropped by our mail server. Please ensure that the email address that your phpBB board sends from exists on your hosting account. You can check this from your phpBB Email Settings within your ACP.

Thank you,

Do I set my email in phpBB settings to the email associated with my x10 account? That's how I had it, and it wouldn't work.

I created a few in cPanel and I'm about to test them.

admin@dankestgamers.x10host.com (I will use this one if I have to)
admin@dankgamers-adln.dankestgamers.x10host.com (what the hell is this?)
admin@dankgamers.com (this is what I really want to use)

Do I need to change anything in cPanel MX Entry?

I set a forward in cPanel to forward admin@dankgamers.com to my personal email.

[Edit] I sent an email in cPanel from admin@dankgamers.com, it worked. Now I'm about to test and see if it works on phpbb new user registration, if it doesn't then I know its some settings that need to be changed in phpBB.

[Edit] Looks like everything is working now. The problem was I had to setup an email in cPanel and put that email into the phpBB settings. Problem solved, thanks!
