Email Problem - DATABASE ERROR: CONNECTION FAILED!

Tried going on to email - none of them work.

RoundCube:
DATABASE ERROR: CONNECTION FAILED!

Unable to connect to the database!
Please contact your server-administrator.


Horde:
A fatal error has occurred
DB Error: connect failed
Details have been logged for the administrator.


SquirrelMail:
Appears to work - i did have an error at first but managed to get an email sent from it, yet the UI is poor in comparison to RoundCube.

Do you know what has happened?
