Hey, I'm recently started having problems with SMTP. The email with verification code does not come for registered users, not in spam either.

My website testmail sends email just fine to any other email except for users who have @gmail.com.

[SPF] madway.net does not allow your server 198.84.80.434 to use noreply@madway.net - maybe this is the problem, I have no clue. Other emails work ok.

I have just checked with PHP Mail() instead of SMTP. Same story, sends to yahoo but not gmail...

On further troubleshooting even if I login to roundcube email inside hosting and send direct email from there to @gmail.com. Nothing...

I'm writing this response from the support team.

Sir Glossaryck Of Terms

I found a few issues that could lead to Gmail’s rejection of messages.
  1. No DKIM record present / DKIM disabled, causing any message to appear unsigned. This can be enabled in Email Accounts > Enable DKIM
  2. SPF Record not configured properly, its missing the edge server address causing any SPF check to fail. You would need to go into the DNS Management tab and look for a TXT record that contains “v=spf1”. Edit that record and add one of the following: either add “ip4:198.91.80.251” or add “a:edge.x10hosting.com”
  3. No DMARC record present, some sources are saying Gmail requires it but I can’t determine that for certain. This can be created in the DNS Management tab by adding a TXT record with the name “_dmarc” with the control panel asking if you want a plain text record, you can click that and then click DMARC, and it will walk through the process.
Since all these involve changes in DNS, it can take some time for these changes to propagate

I will update on this if the issue has been resolved or not later on. This way if anyone having same trouble can do this changes.
