Someone is using my email to validate their account and it's fairly annoying. They do this like every three days.

Ah yes, people think they can get away with hosting by putting someone elses forum name.. the staff have been getting the same emails too.. now would be a good time for suggestions to prevent such a thing from happening!

Plus, make sure you do not click the activation link; however, even if you do, you can always relink your cPanel and forum account (hence no harm done)

I don't remember if there was one or not but possibly it is simply a bot doing this. Is there a security code to validate it is actually a user. Also maybe have the signup check to see if the e-mail provided is already in use. Might be a bit of trouble to do but hopefully it will help in the long run?

well with the new sign up process you get a forum account and then sign up for hosting. but people are typing the id wrong or they just want to piss people off and use the wrong account id to send false requests
