Error extrating zip file

Recently, I downloaded the latest phpBB 3 CVS from area51 of phpBB, however, after uploaded teh tar or gz file to the server, it will never extract into a folder. From tar.gzip, extracted to .tar, then nothing happen again after I click extract file..

Why?

Have you tried to upload all the files manually, one by one.

.tar,.rar.gz do not extract on the server as far as i have found. only .zip works for me.

Know why I want to upload using zip, cause I have sllow broadband, only 36KB/s for max upload speed. Maybe because of the distance of country.

Okay, I will now try using zip.
