error in magento installation

Im trying to install a magento e -commerce script in your server and im getting the following message:

PHP Extension "pdo_mysql" must be loaded


What should i do? Thank you for your assistance.

pdo_mysql is not compiled to PHP. We'll need to wait for Corey or Bryon, as I'm not really sure if it will or will not be compiled in the future.

Thanks for the info. Do you think i have to get a paid hosting account just to be allowed that privilege for magentocommerce script?

This is a task for Bryon since we use custom PHP setups on the free servers. We do have paid users running it though.

Bryon has been very busy lately, when he gets time he'll get it working.
