Error Message from GotLinks

I encountered the following error message on a page constructed by an automatic link exchanger:

"It seems that your web host has disabled all functions for handling remote pages and as a result the GotLinks software will not function on your web site. Please contact your web host and ask them to enable PHP curl or fopen."

I encountered this problem when I first placed the links site in my directory, but it disappeared after a couple hours. It worked fine for a week or so, but just recently it has started to show it again. What causes this problem, and will it be only temporary again, or is there some fix I need to do, or is it permanently unusable?

Go to your account panel: http://x10hosting.com/login and select version 2 of PHP.

Just want to say that CURL and remote/URL fopen and includes are only disabled for PHP version 1. An upgrade to v2 will fix this issue for you, like Corey has stated.

I just wanted to post this for others to see if they are curious - a few people have posted about this problem.
