Error on Hosting Account Signup

Hi, i opened an account last week, the account setup completion was pending for the whole day, so i took a look for it again today. as it turned out there occured an error and i retried the signup. but after loging in again the error reappeared:

Pending Hosting Account Signup submitted September 28 at 7:03 am

An error occurred as your hosting account signup was executed. This error was fatal to the request. Please reattempt your hosting signup again or create a support request.

when i tried to create a support request it was not possible because of this:

Support is currently closed for the server your hosting account is on (). Please visit our forums and read the news.

i guess this is the case as the account was not created before.

any help on this problem?
