Hello all,

I registered yesterday for a Corporate Ad Supported hosting. I've have done (as far as I know) all the required steps (Registed in the forum, activate forum account, apply for hosting and linked to forum user)
When I try to logon to my Account this is what I receive:

Code:
[B]An Error Has Occurred[/B]
Although you've logged in successfully, there was an error retrieving your
account's hosting type from the backend system.

Please post on our forums to seek support on this issue.
So here I'm posting in the forum. Please let me know how to proceed.

Thank you in advance.
Julian.

You need to login with your forum username and password.

Hi lambada,

Thanks for your reply.
I followed the instructions given exactly as they say. This means that I'm trying to login using my forum user & pass so that cannot be the problem (and just to be sure I just tried again with no luck).

Bye,
Julian

I can't find your account ( CDP ) in our tools.

Your account may have been terminated for inactivity or a sever violation of our ToS. Have you been inactive recently?

I just created the account & hosting yesterday. The only thing I tried to do is install PixelPost 1.6 (Pixelpost :: Authentic Photoblog Flavour) (it was uploaded by FTP) but unable to do so due to db problems (actually I was unable to connect because of db problems or dumbness from my part )

Corey,

Now I was able to login and the "Link your hosting account" appears again. When I try to link my cPanel username with the Forum username I get this:

Code:
An Error Has Occurred
The account specified is missing it's contact email address,
this could be caused by one of two things: Either the account
does not have a contact email address set, or our backend
system has not updated yet.
Updates to the backend occur every few hours.

Please try again in a few minutes.

Of course I'm not able to check my email in the account (although I know I put it right as I get the email to my mailbox) because I can't pass the "Link account" screen.

You need to login into cPanel, set the "Contact E-mail", then wait a few hours and try again.
