I am unable to log into my account page and cpanel.

my account is plight.x10hosting.com.

I get the following error when logging in:

"An Error Has Occurred
Although you've logged in successfully, there was an error retrieving your account's hosting type from the backend system."

I am unable to log into cpanel (and unable to link) as well and it says the domain is still available.

Any help is appreciated.

Have you been suspended for a while?

When I lookup the account it says "Account: plight does not exist.". Your account might have been terminated.

My account was never suspended as far as I know. I had signed up for it at the end of last week and just now got around to checking it out. I was able to log in briefly, but when i tryied to log in again I get the stated error.

Should i just try to create another account?

That is the same thing that came up when I had my accounts removed from my account (purposely). Though you may have had them removed by force.
Remember there is an inactivity period, and with them cleaning, could have gotchya.

Best bet is signup for new hosting on that account. (imo)

I got confirmation of my signup as well as one saying there was allready an account with that name. But it all worked out.

Hope you get it going,

Any other answers? It keeps telling me,

"An Error Has Occurred
You already have a hosting account, use it."

when I try to create a new hosting account while logged in under my username (Plight)

Is there a way to unlock it? Plight is my online alias that I have been known as for the past 10 years or so and would like to keep it if at all possible.
