all i did was go to the index

all i did was go to the index
I had that problem with the site came back up it has todo with the .htaccess files. I would suggest renaming it to htaccess.txt for now until the admins can find the problem.

Read the server alerts forum - corey's catching up on account creation, parts of x10 are turning on and off because of it.

Just give it a few minutes and refresh, mine did that too but upon a refresh it was working fine.

Edit: Noticed your other post, disregard this one. Not sure this deals with the account creation after checking your other one.

The only other thing I can tell you is to do as the error says and look at the error log in cpanel. The error log usually gives an exact cause for most errors.
