Hello people,

Thanks for the free hosting x10. I think your are doing a great job here but It seem that you know little about eRuby. No offense, eRuby is just like PHP but better. It uses the full power of Ruby which is very popular due to RoR (Rails).
Well I would appreciate if you would also support eRuby for free hosting. To get info on how to set up eRuby look here: http://www.eruby.info/

Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you.

How many people actually know that language, compared to how many people know php?

Well for the start, in Asia, especially Japan use eRuby and Rails more then PHP. It would also attract more people from Ruby area if you have the support here since not many hosts have it.

Then maybe it'd be worth it. I would like to see responses from staff, especially Corey on this one.

Isn't clear that x10hosting is for North American Sites or English sites? Not to be mean or anything, but aren't MOST of asian sites gonna be....asian?

Of course they are gonna be Asian if they are done for Asians but my aim is to make a site in English.
Well thanks rpope904 for considering it.

It's the first time I hear about eRuby.
I see the installer is quite small (60,0 KB) .

Put a poll up for it. If it gets enough votes I'll look into it.

We really only install stuff if it's wanted by a bunch of members, otherwise we'd have a ton of things to monitor and keep track of ;)

Rails is alot nicer then php and apps can be made much faster. Right now i'm learning Ajax and using PHP the access the DB it would be nice to have Rails installed on the server.

Its not even a Asian vs US thing about RoR. Alot of US web sits use rails it just that rails is a back end thing. You dont really know which sites are using it. But pools have shown alot of PHP programmers are moving over to rails.

Any how I would like it installed on the free servers that would be cOol
