Hi.
I am noticing the server is very, very slow.
Later, and take it easy!
I am noticing the server is very, very slow.
Later, and take it easy!
I was just reading a post in this forum about adding '?foo' at the end of the url
As a side note, make sure you understand what ?foo will do to a page. It's not unreasonable that a programmer will use ?foo as input to the program, which could generate an error (not a HTTP 4XX/5XX error, but an error on the page). Don't be surprised if it has an effect. It's a quick and dirty trick, but clearing your browser's cache is the way to go when in doubt.
I think I'm fresh out of tricks. There isn't much to learn unless you want the really tough technical stuff I don't know myself. Query strings such as ?foo are a way of passing data between your computer and the server. Almost every site, even this forum, uses them, but like this forum they get hidden a lot for various reasons. http://x10hosting.com/forums?t=147085 is really what the server thinks you're looking at (that link won't work... I must be missing another parameter). So, you never know what you're telling a server if you pass random data.
I'll stop rambling now![]()
