External data-based chat scripts: are they allowed?

The TOS clearly states that we are not allowed to place chat scripts to run within the site. But I don't remember reading anything about external chat scripts, or I probably skipped it when reading. I understand the reasons behind not allowing chat scripts to run because of the bandwidth and data load issues, but what about external chat scripts that are hosted from outside free chat service providers?

Are you talking about external services such as http://www.shoutmix.com?

Yes, if all the data is stored and sent externally, it should be allowed since it doesn't access the SQL Database here.

Just to confirm techairlines is correct, externally hosted chat scripts are okay.
