extremely slow loading and timeouts

Hello, I recently signed up for your free hosting web package. Over the past 3 days I've been trying to set up and configure a Drupal 7 installation, however the website takes an extremely long time to load page to page, and very frequently either times out, or informs me that "the page is temporarily unavailable. please try again later."

My website is not filled with images or anything that would cause a long time to load from page to page; each page is just text, as with a fresh Druapl 7 installation.

Can you please help me resolve this problem? I hope to launch my site relatively soon, but if the speed issue cannot be resolved, it will put a serious damper on my plans.

Chopin seems to be having intermittent problems with MySQL, making the cause hard to diagnose. As a result, there's no way of knowing when it will be fixed. The admins are trying to determine what's going wrong, but it's going to take time.
