Dear x10,

Am not sure how many have received the emails like me. It says

"Dear Ben Bol,
Thank you for signing up with x10Hosting. Your application for free web hosting has been submitted. Please click the link below to confirm your E-mail address and activate your account.

http://x10hosting.com/validate?type=free&username=upy&activationfiltered=416940024"

And I have 3 of these. I already have an account here. Why would I want another three? And I am not Ben Bol.

Please note.

Regards
Jensen

Kindof a strange idea, but I got one: How about when signing up for an account, it automatically checks if an account with that email has a current account active.

Of course, you'll still tell the applying user to click the confirmation link in their inbox, but it won't be sending the email (there's already an account active there!).

Cruel? Perhaps. But at least then the people getting offers won't have an x10 account already :)

Simply ignore them, that's all you can do. I got 16 in the past two days. The WORST thing you can do is confirm the message by clicking the link, because then you are letting the spammer get their account without using a valid email address.

IF that does happen rember to go LINK UR ACCOUNT for cPanel in the forums again...so it gets deleted within 2 weeks...or reset the password then relink account:)
