Since you have signed up recently, you are alloted version 1(basic version ) of php by default. In this version, the above error is likely to occur as some functionality needs to be enabled to use forum scripts link phpBB, SMF etc.
So please go to
www.x10hosting.com (i.e.) your account panel, and login. Apply for the version 2( intermediate Version ). After you have requested, the change will take around 6 to 12 hours to get working. After that you can try and you will not be facing the above problem.
