Can anyone help me put a favicon on my website? how do i do that?

You have to have the image on your server then you put this in your <head></head> tags:

Or you can just put the favicon.ico file in the public_html directory, and it should work automatically. But VPmase's suggestion is the safest option.

You favicon must be 16x16 pixels and it must be in the .ico format. There are quite a few online generators that can turn a normal image into a favicon.
