Would like to know, what is favourite VOIP progam. (Voice Over IP)

I like persoaly skype. Mainly because its made in estonia .

Skype and Google Talk, even though Google Talk is pretty basic and stripped down, it works!

Well I chose Skype because you can use it to call regular landlines in USA and Canada for free. The voice quality is realy great.

LOL, does anybody here remember Dialpad? I mean, it's still there (as a branded service), but it's not as same as before. It's was one of the earlier VoIP services that I know of, back when most of us were using dialup, around the time of .com boom and way before most people used the word VoIP! (yes, I've been online since 1996 ) Horrible voice quality, but it was weird, being able to make phone calls around the whole world for free! It was awesome.

Today, I've had friends trying to get me to use Google Chat or Skype, but I've resisted. Maybe it's because of my experience with Dialpad. I know it's not the same now, but I still don't feel like using them. I do use Netmeeting though it's a pain to explain to other people how to use it LOL and I do encourage my friends to call me on my cell phone.

I didn't know that. Americans sure get a lot of free stuff. :eek4:

But to answer the question, Skype would have to be the best, even though I don't use it anymore. :dunno:

I dont really use VOIPs a lot.
Though when I do, its when I play with friends, and then I use Ventrilo.

Skype™ is good because u can call anywhere US or Canada FREE and if sum1 else has Skype™ u can call for free and no return number so great for prank calls.

I've never actually used Google Talk, but I've heard it's good. Does it have a voice mod?

I have used some... skype , gizmo , voipstunt ....but I prefer Wengo .... all the way
