Few Questions about the Domain and Hosting

just now I created an account in x10hosting, wow, it provides unlimited storage for free...
was it? or not really? I haven't seen it, but my friend told me, it only offers 500MB as for his account is showing, but he said, maybe because the server where new accounts are created is pretty new, the lotus server...

please confirm,

What if I bought a domain in godaddy, was it possible that I use the hosting here and the domain is from them? so it would be a free host and a paid domain?

i haven't read your premium services...so i just assume that i will buy a domain from godaddy..

ps.

do you have any guide on starting a web design business..
'coz I have this idea, and I don't know if this is right..

1. signup of a web host
2. register a domain
3. point the dns to the host's nameservers???? i don't know this part
4. viola a website..

You can use a domain from another registrar with x10. Please see: http://x10hosting.com/wiki/How_to_Use_Your_Own_Domain

For information on how to set your domain's DNS, you'll need to contact GoDaddy, as they would be your domain registrar.
