File Permission change

For some reason when I try changing the permissions for my files via ftp or Cpanel it will not change them it will show that it changed perms but when refreshed... back to normal

What is the path to the directory, also what do you want the folder/files to be set too?

They shouldn't be 777, but 755, does it work for you now.

You'll have problems by changing the permissions to 777, as it has been disabled because it has many security risks.
You can instead use 755, that will work perfectly.

this will work also i was wondering this folder requires perl and i was wondering how to use perl plz help!

Do you know perl, if not I recommend to search google.

The path to perl is '/usr/bin/perl'.
