File Size Limit and file types

Hello I'm wondering is there a file size limit and what file types i'm allowed to use for ftp

could you help me because when I backup my files on ftp it wont let me backup some of my files i don't know why and is there a file size limit for files backup on ftp any help please

Hello,

According to: http://x10hosting.com/free-hosting-comparison the maximum upload is 16MB via FTP, but I know this is higher at 64MB using the cPanel file manager.

As our hosting is for websites, we do not allow file hosting or use of the space for personal backups. Most people won't have a webpage or web related file that uses more than 16MB.
