File uploads aren't working

So, I was just going to edit some files on my site, so I opened up the file manager. After editing a php file and saving, I was surprised to find that the corresponding page was blank. I reloaded the file, and found that it was blank as well. Concluding that this must be a problem with the file manager, I opened up my FTP and attempted to re-upload the document through that, only to find that the file transfer failed every time I requested it.

Discuss how x10 webhost doesn't want me to update my lame site.

What errors did you get in your FTP client? What is the page that you have problems with?
