Files suffixed htm do not seem to load using File Manager, but files suffixed html do load.

Files suffixed htm do not seem to load using File Manager, but files suffixed html do load.
Do iI need to rename all my htm files to html?

far as i know you should be able to use htm, html and php extensions.
although the proper extension should be html and php for most common browsers.
