Files updated but changes not available on line

For that past few weeks, I have been having an issue with updates made to my HTML files not showing up on my web site. As always, I publish my updates, made using Seamonkey, to the public_html directory for my domain and I can open the files in that directory for editing using the x10 editor and see that the updates have been made. But, even after refreshing my pages in the browser, the updates are not showing up on line. I have plenty of free space left, just in case that is a concern. Has anyone else had this issue? It is like all my files have been moved to a new directory and public_html is not longer in my path?!

Ah, I think I figured it out. I have a second computer and saved my online pages from FireFox to the new computer and it looks like FireFox (?) is changing the names of my files by deleting spaces in the filename, so makes My File, into MYFile...... D'uh.
