Files will not delete

Ok so it's simple, I am on Lotus and I backed up a directory using R1Soft Restore Backups But I didn't like the directory so I tried deleting it, it wouldn't go away. I cleared all the .html files so they are all empty and I tried messing about with permissions but nothing will work.

How can I delete the files?

I have fixed the file permissions so you should be able to delete them now.
