Filezilla Remote Site upload directory

I have installed filezilla and connected successfully to see my local drive. On the right side there is Remote Site with just a / in the editable field with a folder displayed underneath along with a file called .ftpquota. I can't seem to change directories to place files where I want. Just to see where it would go I transfered a small text file. I found it using cPanel File Manager under public_html/webmaster. Why do I not see that as the directory in the remote site box or file listing underneath?

When I try to manually enter a directory it gives me the following error:
Response: 550 Can't change directory to /public_html/receipe: No such file or directory
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

Hi,

Are you using your cPanel username and password to login to FTP?

I had logged in as webmaster user that I setup for mail. Once I used cpanel login I can now see the directories.
