That's cool, the only thing is, you'd want a see-through case for these to work the most, but it's cool. As for my computers, my gaming computer has a see-through case and it's got a lot of LEDs in it, that all turn on one by one using an advanced lighting system I bought for it as the computer turns on and stuff, and I can adjust the lights and everything. The case itself glows blue, while green lights shine on the video cards, and a few pink/red lights shine in various other parts.

My comp has a opaque case but they still look really cool because the LEDs are very bright.

Nice one bigjoe, you made them yourself no doubt. So could you not hook up something with a pcb with a rheostat to change the brightness and flash rate?
I would get some, but laptops don't have power cables :( and then where the hell would I put them if it did !

Take apart your laptop, find some ports with decent voltage that don't pass data and plug them in using a soldering gun. That works :D

Another idea bigjoe (almost abbreviated your name 'bj').

A laptop cooling pad that has speed adjustment, could even work in some temperature sensor to speed it up or switch it off.

Man if I lived in the uk, I would have you putting together so much stuff for me.

Sweet bigJoe, mine has clear ports and glows blue front and back fan lights. I really love the idea of progressive boot lights with area color. Very nice.

Depends on the amount of lights, etc.. There are others out there. I would look into doing something like this, But I am in the process of putting my computer inside of liquid. ;) Probably a fish tank..
