Folder perm

My folder permissions for my public_html have been altered and i cannot set it back to 744. Can you do this or provide a solution?

Set it to 750.Also look at the error log in cPanel, it will help you to resolve the exact error.

I have changed the permissions of public_html folder to 755

I looks like its happened again, can I get 755 back? Also do you have any idea on what could cause this?
