Forbidden Error Help

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /1q/jscripts/scripts.zip on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I get this error whernever i try to download a file using the filemanager i modified. (QTOFileManager)

I have tried deleting and rebuilding all my .htaccess files that come under public_html and /1q/

I have also tried setting my indexing to fancy indexing, on and off

please help me!!!

What is your domain? Until I know, I can only tell you this: Try checking the chmod settings of your folders leading up to the file, and the file itself. It should be 644, 755, or 777. Anything else limits access possibilities. I suggest 775.

i have also tried chmod...it is 755
it still does not work

You cannot access any files that are not in the public_html folder. If you want to download it use FTP to get it or move the folder into public_html.
