In the past I have been warned and banned for so called "spamming" but how do you people expect us to add more info/details to our posts/threads if you limit us to only be allowed to edit within a certain amount of time.

It really pisses me off when I view my warning and see that the comment says 'use the 'edit' button' but how can I if it wont let me? :S

Theres no point to that in your sig, only Corey, You, Bigguy and Tyler can see the warnings.. Account managers, and members can not see them..

I wouldn't really worry about the warnings, they don't last very long and like Phil said no one can tell you have them besides Admins,Senior Staff, and you ;)

They are more for getting the people who constantly break the rules out. I think almost everyone has had atleast one warning :)

Ive publicly announced it several times before! I am not ashamed of my warning as I may seem and believe that they could help people follow their own rules by changing some settings to remove the post editing restriction.

It was for "spamming" but I believe that it is unfair and that they cant blame me for double posting.

But, what the heck, ill change me signature.

There are reasons we limit the time the Edit button is available. Anyways, if you make a mistake, you should see it once you post, then edit it.

I bet you would not get a warning if you put "Double posting becuase the edit button would not work"... If you don't we think your spamming and just being lazzy.

But also with that. Lets say Its been less than 24 hours. But people have already read your post and maybe yu want to post something more or add more detail. And then people can look at the post time and know that theres been an update.

The 24 hour editing limit is kind of a pain... many people don't read all of the replies before replying themselves, so if you need to change a link or something in your topic (say you changed the name of a directory, etc.).
