free hosting setup failed

Hi

I have tried to setup the free hosting account, but after putting in the activation code I was told my password was invalid because it had the word "test" in it and to re-start my registration.

however, I have tried but it does not allow my to re-register with the same email account.

The forum registration has worked, but i get a message when I try to log in now that no hosting is linked to this account.

Hey,

I think the fact that it refused your application was down to the fact that your password contained the word test. This is probably down to the security that they have in place in order to stop people creating dummy accounts that contain test etc.

Try re-creating again but use a different password instead of the original one and see what happens then.

I had worked that out thanks, but the problem is I cannot re-register with the same email account, computer says NO.

Your hosting account definitely failed to create, I show you have none at all. There should be no conflict with the email, I'm not sure if this is a server error.

You could simply sign up for a new email address at gmail or hotmail for this purpose and you could even set the new email to forward the email to your old email. This would probably be the fastest way, but I will ask an admin to look into this.
