Free membership site

Hi all! I am putting together a new membership site, and I would like to know a script to use that before anyone can access my pages they must first enter their name/email/password. From what i understand I need Php or something of that nature. Thank You for all responses:biggrin:

I'd recommend you check out Joomla. If just wanted a simple password on you webpages, check out HTML PASS you can get it here: http://www.softpedia.com/downloadTag/HTML+Pass. Its freeware.

Yes, the program is very good.

I would have recommended one of my systems, but the first one, the most simple one, is only meant at those with excellent programming skills as it is not user friendly or intended.
The other one I am building for regular usage is not mature enough yet (no admin interface at all!), but if you want to check it out, it's available at http://userman.afrosoft.co.cc/page/index .
