every one heard about it once an MMORPG... :eek:
Well ill explain you things about this thread.

We are here to discus free MMORPG's

Such as the famous RuneScape and 3d Based games such as project entropia and KalOnline

those are free MMORPG's to be able to play without paying for it.
And i did wish to make an list and this list would be updated an frequent times.

Rules are:


  • They must be 100% free to be able to play.
  • You must provide an link to the site.
  • You must give an little info about it.
  • You must add an screen shot in you're post of the MMORPG.
  • It must be 3D and not web based! (RuneScape is an exceptional)
The List:

http://www.onrpg.com is a really good database, though I don't play MMORPGs any more so I don't know which ones are good and such. OnRPG's top 40 list should help with that though.

It's a great game. I don't know if it qualifies for 3D status. I would call it 2D. Download the client and enjoy it! It's totally worth the 30 some odd megabytes.

By the way, make sure you download 3.5. If you download 3.0 it is only free for 28 days then you can't play anymore unless you pay $9.95 a month. 3.5 is free forever. Obviously there are benefits available only to paying players, but I would thing that's a given.

You can choose to be either a Warrior or a Mage. I feel the graphics are great, because 3D graphics affect my inner ear and I can't play them. It has sort of an up to date Final Fantasy (if the genre had stayed 2D, but what kind of sense would they do that?)

Maplestory

One of it's kind. Maplestory is a platform-MMORPG. You start out swinging a sword, club, or axe and gradually develop new skills and become stronger than ever! It's run by an American-based sub-company called Nexon whose mother company (also called Nexon) is located in Korea. In this game there are 4 classes in which you can choose from. Choosing your first class is the key to how your character develops and how the Ability Points affect your damage. The four classes are Rogue, Swordsman, Bowman, and Magician.

Besides RuneScape and Maplestory ... Can anyone recommend a good game ( maybe one that they currently play and would be willing to help a newbie start? )

I tried MU - but couldn't figure it out. ( That goes also for ROSE also )
I tried to get on Endless, but it wouldn't connect to the server.

there all free to play but some have add features if you pay
