front page extension installation error

I cannot install frontpage extionsion in my website.
It display this error:
Error: The server extensions were unable to access the file "srm.conf". Please check the file permissions.
Setting Password
Frontpage passthough auth enabled in /home/mlearn/public_html!
Frontpage was installed on the following domains: mlearn.x10.mx

Front Page extensions do not work with the current free hosting setup.
