Hello,
I've been trying to install Frontpage extensions for my free web hosting account. Every time I try to do so I get the following Error:

Error: The server extensions were unable to access the file "srm.conf". Please check the file permissions.

I tried to create an empty file of that name, That didn't work, not sure if I had it in the correct directory or if that would work at all. My google research indicates that someone with administrative authority may have to intervene..
Thank you in advance...

FrontPage extensions are disabled on free hosting accounts.

Is there any reason why you would want to use them? They are no longer supported and they give your website a very outdated look.

Hunh I selected x10 specifically because it was supposed to support front page extensions.
I need to publish a clickonce application from vb.net. If there is a more modern way to do that I'm all ears.

I can't see any mention of Frontpage extensions anywhere on the x10hosting.com site, can you point out where you saw this so that it can be corrected?

Please note that frontpage extensions are still supported on our premium hosting, perhaps even illuminated (but I'm not sure about that one)

I decided to investigate x10 based on the comparison chart in the link below.
That information may not be official or may be out of date, but my second question
still is needing consideration, If Front Page is so out of date, is there a new more modern way to publish from Visual Studio that I should be aware of?
