FTP and PHPNuke help

ok I just got my cpanel info and after logging in and using fantastico to set up a php nuke site, the site doesnt work. Is it down?
my domain is http://xl.x10hosting.com and i installed php nuke to /Site

and I was wondering what the ftp information is like what would i put for host address, login and pass...

well the site works now but i still cant seem to login ftp properly...when i connect it says You are connected via HTTP or HTTPS...and i dont see any files

im using host address - ftp.xl.x10hosting.com
userid - spal7e
pass - my password

FTP seems to be down. Wait a while and see if it comes back online. Corey has been really busy adding new accounts because the signup system was having some problems.

As mentioned, just check the srvices thread, which is stickied under the "Free Hosting" section.

If any of the following are down:

HTTP
FTP
HTTPS
SMTP

Then that is why your account shall not work.

As for you original question, then I am not entirely sure about PHP-Nuke, but I should go into fantastico again, delete the installation, and re-install it making sure it installs correctly then, test your website to make sure it works.

If it still doesn't work then post back here, and we shall try our best to try and figure out your problem.

well my site works now but ftp doesnt...even when all the services are up

Well, I have just checked the services and they show that they are down! Just give it a while, because they are havinga few problems with the server.

can some1 atleast tell me if im using the right details like host address login and stuff cuz i cant even login when all services are online...my cpanel and site work fine but i need ftp access to 1. put up the ads and 2. to upload more files...

to login to ftp you should be using: ftp.subdomain.x10hosting.com, but as said before not all services are up today.

k i got my problem solved...there was something wrong with my ftp client...thx for all ur help guys appreciate it...
