FTP Client keeps saying "Too many connections (5) from this IP"

I'm using filezilla, I also followed the instruction listen in the cpanel and imported the xml file. But for some reason it racks up multiple connects attempts. it seems to be connection for like 30 seconds, then after 5 repetitions of trying to open directories, or upload files, it give this error response:

Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Response: 421 Too many connections (5) from this IP

I then set my filezilla to active instead of passive. But that didn't solve the problem.

If I go into the cpanel FTP session control, I can delete all 5, but they come back after a very short time of FTP use. Is this a limitation of free accounts that it forces your ftp to disconnect after 30 seconds? Is there something else going on that we can fix?

If I'm wrong, please correct me, but anyway, the error, as I look at it states that there are too many previous connections. You have to give the FTP server some time to calm down from connections from 1 IP. If anyone keeps experiencing problems on this topic, I would use the File Manager to upload until you can use FTP again

in FileZilla --> settings --> Transfer --> Concurent transfers - set all three to "1"

2.> x10hosting free-hosting accounts can have only one 'connection' at one time
3.> there is no time limit to "calm down"
4.> cPanel's "File Manager" will only use one 'connection' at a time
