FTP connection issue

Hi,

I'm using FileZilla and the corporate version of the ad-enhanced hosting package. I am trying to upload some files (well - IPB v2.3.1 to be precise) and have come across an error when trying to get the FTP program to log into the server - I keep getting a '530 Login authentication failed' error...

Here is the log for my latest attempt (I removed the IP address for obvious reasons):

I've tried changing the password, then waiting five minutes, then re-trying, but still with no luck. Where am I going wrong?

Good idea - I'll give it a go...

EDIT: OK, I tried it and... It still gives me the '530 Login authentication failed' error every time. I know I am getting the password right as I am deliberately being very careful with typing it. Is there a certain port number I should be using? I've been using the default of port 21 - is this right? :dunno:

EDIT2: OK, this is wierd... a friend is able to log into the cPanel - but for some reason it is refusing me access to the cPanel, claiming that the password I enter is wrong... Why is that? >_<

Make sure you're entering your user name in all lowercase.
