FTP Connections not allowed from my country of origin?

When I try to connect to my account which on boru server, I get the error:
538 Sorry, FTP connections are not allowed from your country of origin.

FTP was working fine a week or two ago, but now I am getting this error. A thread in News and Announcements forum tells that the issue is resolved, but apparently it is not or perhaps I am missing something. Any help?

Hello,

We recently implemented login blocks on FTP and cPanel from countries that have been blocked from signing up. Unfortunately there is no way to bypass this restriction at this time, we are currently looking to re-allow cPanel logins from users with pre-existing accounts (such as yours) but implementing a similar policy for FTP logins would be difficult if not impossible.
