ftp issues

hi,
im trying to connect to my ftp account and using the xml file x10hosting provided i get the following log

Response: 220 You will be disconnected after 2 minutes of inactivity.
Command: USER anonymous
Response: 331 User anonymous OK. Password required
Command: PASS **************
Response: 530 Login authentication failed
Error: Critical error
Error: Could not connect to server

is this a problem at server or my end? thanks

There'd be a problem with that xml file I'd say; Command: USER anonymous

Assuming the information was saved in your ftp client, edit the information for the site and set username to be your cPanel username, and password to be your cpanel password.

If it wasn't saved, enter the following in your client instead of using the xml file.

Host: your domain
user: your cpanel username
password: your cpanel password
port: 21 (default so can probably be left empty).
