ftp not working

For some reason my FTP isn't working, I have been trying to get it to work for about an hour...

Make sure you put the correct adress, and the correct username & password..

use flashFXP for ur ftp manager .. very good simple.. and easy to use

FTP is working as it should, so I suspect you aren't using the correct FTP information. For you it should be:

Address: dovir.x10hosting.com
User: dovir
(password)

Some ftp programs, like BPFT, require you to type 'ftp' before your address, so it would be ftp.dovir.x10hosting.com

Download an ftp program. I recommend cuteftp or smartftp.

FileZilla is free and also cross platform.

FileZilla is the best possible FTP Client i have ever used, i have had some problems with it, but they were always server side, so it wasn't FileZilla's fault

Dovir, are you POSITIVE you are entering the correct information? My only other guess is to check your firewall and other programs (if applicable) to make sure nothing is blocking you. Are you connecting through a router?

EDIT: Also try connecting using the free server's IP instead of your sub domain.. I doubt this is the problem but it is worth a shot: 72.232.204.42

I am also facing ftp problem my ftp address is not working and i cant upload files from my ftp client( ftp commandor) please help me whats wrong with my site or I am doing something wrong. Thanks in advance
