ftp not working

hi.. i have new hosting account here it is advanced and when i try to connect it from ftp it failed.. it says that host name can not be resolved invalid host name .. my domain name is www.nikunj.co.in and ftp as given in email is ftp.nikunj.co.in . please help

please mods enable my ftp access so that i can upload my site.. uploading through http is boring and time consuming so

To let you know, FTP is currently down, for everyone, I just checked status in Cpanel, and it said it is down. I hope a mod or admin will get on later and check this, and fix FTP, and I'm sure they will later on.

The FTP seems to be intermittent, only being able to login for a limited amount of time, s this a recently added measure to keep hosting free?

ok, i thought it was just me because other ppl said ftp was fixed in the News and Announcement section... i keep timing out in ftp so i can't upload all of my files...
