FTP on new server down...for a long time

The FTP on the new server has been down for... a week or two. Its really annoying cause i want to upload stuff using FTP and not the cPanel file manager. =.=

What is the use of SSH if none of the free plans get SSH access?

Not for a week, only yesterday i uploaded some school coursework onto it. It may just crash from time to time (As corey moved accounts across and the server is getting used to more load).

About SSH -- its also for the AM's and Senior Admins to look at

FTP has been down here and there. Most staff can restart it if we are made aware it is down.

Regarding SSH, it is used by Admins. We don't give out access to normal members.
