Ftp problem, can't connect

I'm having this problem:

• Status: Connecting to ftp.dragonsden.elementfx.com ...
• Status: Connected with ftp.dragonsden.elementfx.com. Waiting for welcome message...
• Response: 220---------- Welcome to Pure-FTPd [TLS] ----------
• Response: 220-You are user number 24 of 50 allowed.
• Response: 220-Local time is now 23:50. Server port: 21.
• Response: 220-This is a private system - No anonymous login
• Response: 220-IPv6 connections are also welcome on this server.
• Response: 220 You will be disconnected after 15 minutes of inactivity.
• Command: USER admin.dragonsden.elementfx.com
• Response: 331 User admin.dragonsden.elementfx.com OK. Password required
• Command: PASS *********
• Response: 530 Login authentication failed
• Error: Unable to connect!

I'm using the right pass, I'm not using an anonymous login. I've searched a few times on this forum and I did what they said and still nothing. I'm using filezilla and I tried ws_ftp le, crossftp, and smartftp and still nothing... Any help would be appreciated. thanks

Use your cPanel user\pass to login to the FTP.

Thanks Corey, that fixed it... I had a space in my sub domain name. But why don't it work with the details I put in my first post?

It looks like you were trying to login with admin.dragonsden.elementfx.com did you create that account in your cPanel?

Like setting up one in the FTP Accounts manager? Yes I did that. But I still cannot login. I'll try again, and just see if was something on my end...

If you set one up trying using the whole address and an @ sign. So if I set up corey I would use corey@staff.x10hosting.com for the user name.
