FTP Problems

When I try to access my FTP throught Smart FTP or my browser an error comes up- 530 THis is a private system, no anonymous login. I've checked for anonymous FTPs and when I try to login through my account then also I get this problem, please help, thanks.

so when you use your main (like cpanel username and pass) it still does not let you into your FTP?... or are you sure your not still trying to login to anonymous FTP?

I'm logging in with my main acc., I still get error.

Is it ONLY the FTP that is inaccessible, or is cPanel giving you the same problem? I use SmartFTP and I accidentally checked the "annonymous" box to the right of the login information fields which gave me some problems, causing nearly an hour of "WTF"-ing at my computer.
